      <image:title>Welcome - MEET STACI</image:title>
      <image:caption>Staci Scott, ARNP, CPNP, MSN has been a certified pediatric nurse practitioner since 2007. She studied nursing at the University of Iowa and graduated with honors in 2004. She worked for a number of years as a hospital pediatric nurse serving children on general and emergency pediatric units and babies in the neonatal intensive care unit. She completed her Master's degree at Rush University in Chicago, IL in 2007, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Staci worked in the Chicago area at a large private practice where she served many Hispanic underserved pediatric patients. In 2009, she and her husband set out on a new adventure, to live in a different part of the country, which landed them in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. She worked with a private practice for four years before deciding to pursue her dream of opening her own clinic in 2013-Village Pediatrics was born and she loves taking care of families by following a different model of care. Her medical interests include asthma, sleep quality and airway management in children, breastfeeding, and infant and child growth and development. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, hiking, baking, traveling and singing in a band.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Welcome - MEET KRISTI</image:title>
      <image:caption>Kristi Goings, ARNP, CPNP, MSN, has been apart of our team since January 2022. Most recently, she graduated from Maryville University as a certified pediatric nurse practitioner in primary care and prior to that she studied nursing at Seattle Pacific University where she graduated with her BSN. She worked as a pediatric nurse on the Medical Unit at Seattle Children’s Hospital for 4 years before moving to Connecticut for her husband’s job. While on the East Coast, she worked as a school nurse for 3 years - one year in a joint Head Start program/special education preschool, and the other two in a K-4 elementary school where she gained valuable experience with preschool and school aged children. She and her husband moved back to Seattle in the summer of 2020. While completing her clinical rotations, she also taught as an adjunct professor for SPU’s nursing program during the 2020-21 school year. Her professional interests focus on pediatric respiratory illnesses, diabetes care, asthma management, and seizure disorders. In her free time, Kristi enjoys spending time with her 18 month old daughter, hiking with her husband, and playing games with friends.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Welcome - MEET NICOLE</image:title>
      <image:caption>Nicole Robinson, ARNP, CPNP, DNP, joined the team in February 2024. She is a graduate of the University of Arizona’s Doctorate of Nursing Practice program with a specialty in pediatric primary care. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Seattle University in 2012. She went on to work as a registered nurse on the Medical Unit at Seattle Children's, first as a bedside nurse and most recently as charge nurse. She loves getting to know kids and their families and building strong relationships. Her goal is to partner with the family to provide individual care to each patient she meets. She strives to make parents feel valued and heard at every visit. Nicole is a Washington native, born and raised in West Seattle. In her free time, she loves traveling, shopping and spending time with family and friends.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Welcome - MEET MIRANDA</image:title>
      <image:caption>Miranda Garred, ARNP, CPNP, MSN, joined our Village Pediatrics team in January 2025. She is passionate about pediatrics and in providing a holistic care experience. Her goal is to provide comprehensive care, for patients and families to feel valued and well cared for, and to build long-lasting relationships with the families she cares for. She graduated from Maryville University's pediatric nurse practitioner program. She obtained her initial nursing degree and license as a Registered Nurse in 2014, graduating from Walla Walla Community College with an associate's in nursing and associate's in arts, and obtained her BSN in 2017, from Lewis-Clark State College. . She has worked in a wide variety of different medical areas, providing care both in the hospital and in the clinic setting. Most of her career as an RN, was spent providing care in the hospital to both pediatric and adult patients.  Her professional interests include breastfeeding support, pediatric mental health, diabetes care, and immunology.  She is a Washington native, having grown up and lived most of her life in a small town in eastern Washington. Most of her free time is enjoyed with her 2-year-old son. She loves live music, karaoke, theater, dancing, reading novels, traveling, playing outdoors with her son, and spending time with her loved ones.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Welcome - MEET JOCELYN</image:title>
      <image:caption>Jocelyn Velazquez, ARNP, CPNP, MSN is a graduate of Columbia University’s Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program in primary care and joined the VP team in 2026. Jocelyn has developed a broad range of interests within pediatrics, shaped by both her pre-nursing experiences, her PNP clinical experience, and her work as a pediatric registered nurse in medical-surgical units. Having practiced in multiple care settings and supported children with diverse medical and developmental conditions, she has gained exposure to a wide spectrum of clinical needs that affect pediatric patients. She also speaks Spanish fluently as well. Jocelyn is excited to combine her experience, education, and passion for pediatric health and well-being by joining the talented team at Village Pediatrics! Jocelyn is a California native, born and raised in Los Angeles. She moved to the San Francisco Bay Area while studying at UC Berkeley as an undergraduate, then spent a few years in San Diego after graduating. She spent the last 5 years in New York, completed her nursing education, and now has recently relocated to Washington seeking a change of scenery. She is looking forward to exploring the PNW and all that nature has to offer!</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Merissa McEwan, ARNP, CPNP, DNP, joined the team in May 2023. She is a graduate of the University of Washington’s Doctorate of Nursing Practice program with a specialty in pediatric primary care. She studied nursing at Seattle Central College, where she earned her associate degree in nursing in 2018 and started working as a medically intensive pediatric home health nurse. While working full-time as a nurse, she also earned her BSN from the University of Washington-Bothell in 2019. Her professional interests focus on infant and child growth and development, breastfeeding, medically complex and medically fragile children, and respiratory illnesses.  Merissa is a Washington native, born and raised in West Seattle. She is a big animal lover. She has four chickens named Chicken &amp; Noodle and Salt &amp; Pepper, and two kitties named Willow and Juniper. When she’s not working, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.</image:caption>
